How to play KERB FC
In KERB FC you are the touchline conductor. Your five players play by themselves, and you shape how they play. These are the controls and the habits that win matches.
1. Set your stance
The stance is your team’s persistent shape. Set it and forget it, or change it as the match turns.
- Balanced: an even shape.
- Press: a high line and more aggressive pressure, for more ball recoveries.
- Counter: a deep defence with less pressure and fast counter-attacks. Usually the right answer against a stronger squad.
2. Give timed instructions
Instructions bend the team for a few seconds, then fade.
- PRESS! The two nearest defenders close down and tackle harder. Pressing drains stamina, so short bursts work better than spamming it.
- HOLD: drop deeper and fill the space.
- PUSH: the team runs forward and supports the attack.
3. Tap the pitch
- Near the opponent’s goal: an aimed shot towards that spot.
- Anywhere else: a directed pass and a focus zone. For a few seconds the ball carrier drives there, and support runs and passing lean that way.
- Inside your own box: position your goalkeeper.
The SHOOT and PASS buttons fire a quick strike with the best-placed player. Shooting has a short cooldown and is strongest close to goal.
4. Drive mode (optional)
Switch on Drive to steer one outfield player directly with a virtual joystick or WASD/arrow keys, Switch to another player and attempt a Tackle. Your other players stay on AI, and Drive gives control, never a power boost.

Tips
- Start with a practice match: it costs no stamina and does not count, so you can learn the controls.
- Goals are precious. Force a shot by tapping close to goal when you have a clear chance; otherwise pass into space.
- Against a stronger team, Counter plus a well-placed focus zone beats constant pressing.
- Invest in your stadium: floodlights help saves, the scoreboard adds shot power, the clubhouse improves stamina.
Frequently asked questions
Do I control one player in KERB FC?
Not by default. You direct the whole team with stance, timed instructions and pitch taps. Drive mode lets you steer one player directly if you want to.
How long is a match?
About three minutes by default and never more than five.
What is the difference between a practice match and an official match?
Practice matches are free: no stamina, no rewards, no league points. Official matches use stamina, give rewards and count for the league and season.
